Soupocalypse returns to Fremont for its 5th year this weekend – My Ballard

Did you know that Fremont has a soup festival?

It’s called Supicalipse and it’s something like a wine walk, but with soup. This is happening this weekend, January 30 to February 2.

Organized by the Fremont Mischief Distillery, Soupocalypse is also a challenge for soup: participants can take a soup passport at the beginning of the festival and get stamps for each Consume soup at 16 different Fremont locations. You can get an order print in or for orders, and when you hit eight seals from different places, you will be able to collect some “Super Super Shortness” on Fremont Mistchief.

Soupocalypse was born in January 2021 during the pandemic. “This gave the center of the residents of the universe to escape from their homes and enjoy a warm bowl with soup as they take the views and sounds of the Burke-Gilman path,” the website said. “The experience was so nice that we are now celebrating the soup every year.”

Participants are Fremont Mischief, Shawn O’Donnell’s, El Camino, Swel, Triangle Spirits, Esters ENOTECA, PASEO, KAOSAMI, Red Star Taco Bar, Frelar, Pecado ., And the thief of the barrel.
