For the 14th time in 16 seasons, Seattle Sounders will play his first MLS game of the year at home. This time it’s against Charlotte FC, whom they will play for the third time so far. Sounders won their only Lumen Field meeting in 2022.
Charlotte FC is coming out of his best season, finishing fifth in the Eastern Conference and allows the second at least goals. Only Sounders allowed less goals last year.
Sounders will play on a short break after traveling to Antigua, the CONCACAF Champions Cup on Wednesday. Sounders won this game 3-1, but will probably turn some as a result. They will play your feet to return home this one on Wednesday.
- Although it does not appear in the official injury report, Wilfried Zaha will miss this game to be with his wife for their childbirth.
- The other major acquisition in Charlotte was trading for Eric Williamson, who had previously played for Portland Timbers.
