‘Some gave it all’: Lubbock police unveil new memorial to fallen officers – Yahoo News

A new memorial and plaque have been dedicated to Lubbock police officers who died in the line of duty.

Leaders from the city of Lubbock and the Lubbock Police Department gathered Monday evening to unveil the new memorial to fallen officers near Lubbock Police Department headquarters, 1205 15th St., downtown. The new memorial, inscribed with the phrase “All gave some, some gave all,” was installed with the intention of reminding the community of the sacrifices police and their families make. It honors the seven LPD officers who died in the line of duty, according to Lubbock police.
