Sioux Falls, SD (Dakota News now) – the city of Sioux Falls Street Division released a snow signal for the city at 16:00 on Monday.
Plow drivers first focus on emergency snow routes, then move to each of the three zones of Siu Falls to clear all the city streets.
The plowing in Zone 3 will start after midnight, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, after emergency routes and secondary routes have been cleared.
The plowing in Zone 2 will start at 8:00 on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
The plowing in Zone 1 will start on Thursday, February 13, 2025

The city of Siu Falls also released reminders of property owners:
- Snow and ice should be cleared from the sidewalks within 48 hours after the snow falls.
- Keep fire hydrants on your property of snow, ice and other obstacles.
- Clear the way to your mailbox.
- When clearing snow, place snow in your yard, not on the street or sidewalk.
- A clear storm from the sewer of your property throughout the winter.
