Small earthquakes Homes near the Renault area. – wtap

Renault, Fr. (WTAP) – A magnitude 2.8 earthquake happened near Renault, Ohio around 6:00 pm on Monday night.

According to the US geological survey, the earthquake has a formal time from 17:58. It happened 2 km (~ 1.25 miles) northern northeast of Renault, Ohio.

Facebook residents report home and shake furniture in a few moments.

Reports came from Marieta and Renault in Ohio, as well as from Belmont and Waverly in West Virginia.

This comes less than a week after the magnitude 2.2 earthquake was documented in the Renault region on January 28, 2025.

Another earthquake was also felt in the region on Monday. Near Jackson Ohio was reported an earthquake of magnitude 3.1
