North Las Vegas, Nev. (Color) – It may feel like a place that belongs in the middle of the desert, but given the fact that it is only about 20 miles from the Las Vegas strip, it is actually very close to civilization.

“This is super easily accessible by the Las Vegas strip if you enter the city or go out of town,” Tracy Barkaus of Travel Nevada.

Barnthouse says Tule Springs is a place that makes sense to emphasize on their website. The one who gives people who want to get out of the life of the city of Vegas, an easy option.

On the site you will find people to drive, tourism and take their dogs to run. But the area was once inhabited by prehistoric beings who have been dug there over millions of years.

The Colombian Mammoth, a ground lazy, horrible wolf and American lion are just some of the fossils found in this area, ranging from 7,000 to 250,000 years.

Tule Springs is no longer the only place in the area where this type of ancient history is now exposed. As the State Park in the fossils of the glacier opened in just a few minutes.
