Baton Rouge, La. (WAFB) – The Wafb Podgue Network is launching a new podcast: on the recording with Liam Combs. Aimed at destroying complex issues and finding a common position through meaningful conversations with people from all over the political spectrum. The conversations cover both national and local topics, aired every two weeks.

The new WAFB political correspondent Liam Combs is fresh on stage in Baton Rouge. During his first few months, he covered two elections, a special legislative session on tax reform, the New Year’s terrorist attack in New Orleans, a historical snowstorm and others.

In the debut episode, the recently elected mayor of EBR SID Edwards continues with Liam Combs to talk about his first month of service and plans to cope with his campaign promises.

The conversation covers crime, homelessness, economic development and others. Extremely the mayor reveals his plan to return special divisions such as the BRPD street crimes department. This unit was dissolved after the WAFB investigation into the illegal interrogation warehouse known as the Brave Cave.

Sid Edwards says he has never considered himself a politician and is aligned with GOP mainly because of his position of life in terms of abortion. His completed career as a high school coach is bleeding in his new office. In other areas, it is detached from the main flow as a prioritization of a diverse cabinet and investing in social programs.
