Memphis shows have signed Jacob Kibody’s running, Brandon Mattrson’s defensive fight, and Mark Gilbert’s protective rear on Monday according to the UFL Transction page.
Jacob Kibody is six feet and weighs 225 pounds. The 26-year-old from Baton Rug, Louisiana, signed with New Orleans Saints as an unprocessed free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he had 19 for 71 yards, two touchdowns and four traps for 30 yards in three pre-season games. The saints released him on December 3, 2024.
Next, Cleveland Browns signed Kibodi on December 18, 2024. He played a regular game of the season against Baltimore Ravens with five worn for 24 yards and one catch for 15 yards. He became a free agent after the 2024 season.
Collegiy Kibodi played two seasons in Texas A&M (2017-18) 14 carries for 147 yards, one touch, one catch without yards and one gear (1 assist) in five matches for AGGIES. He then transferred to an incarnate word in 2020, but the season was canceled due to Covid-19.
He then transferred to the University of Louisiana to Lafayette (2021-23) with 166 carried for 898 yards, seven touchdowns, 12 catch for 95 yards, one touchdown and one back hit for 17 yards in nine matches for Ragin Kajnes.
Brandon Materon is six feet two and weighs 295 pounds. The 25-year-old from San Antonio, Texas, signed with Denver Broncos as an unprocessed free agent on May 10, 2024. Broncos released him on August 2, 2024. The buck in Tampa Bay signed him on August 19, 2024.
He did not play in the preazon and was released on August 27, 2024. Calgary Stumpets signed Matureson on September 29, 2024. He spent three days in the training team before the stamps released him on October 2, 2024.
Collegiically, Matureson played six seasons at Texas University-San Antonio (2018-23), making 101 equipment (45 solos, 56 assists), 15.5 waste equipment, 7.5 sacks, three forced strokes and one breakthrough in 59 Roadrunners match. In 2023, Materon made 14 games (7 solo, 7 assists), six shells for loss, five sacks and one forced blow in 12 games.
Mark Gilbert is six feet one and weighs 190 pounds. The 27-year-old from Faetavil, North Carolina, signed with the stallions in Birmingham on January 19, 2024. In 2024, Gilbert made 26 ranges (21 solo, 5 assists), one interception, five breaks on the pass and one recovery of FUMB seven matches when the stallions won their third consecutive championship over San Antonio Brahmas 25-0. He became a free agent after the season.
Pittsburgh Steelers signed Gilbert as an unprocessed free agent on May 7, 2021. In 2021, he made five games (4 solo, 1 assist) in four pre -season games. The Lions in Detroit signed Gilbert from the Pittsburgh team on October 13, 2021. Gilbert made three games (2 solos, 1 assist) in games. In 2022, he made six games (4 solos, 2 assists) in three pre -season games. Lions released him on August 30, 2022.
Pittsburgh Maulers signed Gilbert on March 25, 2023. In 2023, he made 32 games (29 solos, 3 assists), two loss for loss, four 29 yards and 15 breaks in ten games. He was appointed to the All-USFL team. After the season, Gilbert signed with the dolphins in Miami on August 4, 2023. He played a pre -season game with a single gear (1 solo) against the Atlantic Falcons. Dolphins released him on August 18, 2023.
The Gilbert colleague played five seasons in Duke (2016-20), making 65 gear (44 solos, 21 assists), five loss matches, seven intercepts and 24 breakthroughs in 29 games for the Blue Devils. It was declared the first All-ACC team in 2017.
