Shooting in Winston – Salem Hall for Residence of State University in the process of investigating – WXLV

Shooting at the State University of Winston-Salem left an early one man who caused an investigation by local authorities. Officers from the Winston-Salem police department responded at a local hospital where the victim who received a firearm was treated.

The victim, together with the State University Police in Winston-Salem, confirmed that the shooting took place on the campus at the residence. The victim has been reported in stable condition with life -threatening injuries.

The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating the university’s police to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. Authorities said it seems to have been an isolated incident, not a random act of violence. The investigation is ongoing.
