Shenanigans announces extension to the city center – siouxfalls.business

February 5, 2025

Shenanigans Sports Bar & Grill opens a city center.

The longtime bar and grill open in the cascade in Falls Park, 701 N. Phillips Avenue, in Pope Woody’s former wooden pizza.

Shenanigans also has a place in 1903 S. Ellis Road, which replaced his hands early this year and is now owned by Paul Ode. Ode and his family participate in a number of restaurants, including Crawford’s and Wagoo Burger in the center of Sioux Falls, along with a future concept coming to 202 S. Phillips Ave.

Dad Woody closed at the end of last year.

“There is no traditional sports bar for us in the city center and that’s what we want,” Ode said. “If the Vikings play or SDSU play, you will hear the comment on the speakers. … It excited us from finding a place and that happened. “

The menu will be similar to West Side – think about “pizza, beer, wings and burgers” – but there will probably be some unique items.

“We like the fact that there are families there,” Ode said. “It may be a sports bar, but a huge part of our business on the western country is families.”

The layout of the mixed -use building opens and there will be some cosmetic changes, he said. The hope is to be open until St. Patrick’s Day.

“We will do what we can,” Ode said. “We want to be a place that helps to manage more business in the building and we will be neighboring to do what we can for everyone.”

There are now three spaces available in the cascade. Another new business, the manufacturer’s circle, plans to open this spring, offering handmade items, work and art activities.

The area is primed for additional activity, said Raquel Blunt of Lloyd Cos., Which has the available spaces.

“Spring is coming and the park will open (in Jacobson Plaza), and now that we have the restaurants of the steel region and the Greenway river, it will be so busy and will rejuvenate the whole area,” she said.
