The North Nevada Cancer Foundation (NNCCF) turns to your support; You can support the city of Sparks or the city of Renault in their last fundraising.
The bold shave event starts on March 3 at 8:00 am at the NNCCF office, located at 3550 Barron Way in Renault.
The event, usually held every year around St. Patrick’s Day, asks the community to balm in support of child cancer research.
Shaving for the brave is a friendly competition between the city of Sparks and the city of Renault, represented by the relevant council members Donald Abbot by Sparks Ward 1, and Devon Reese of Renault Ward 5.
Residents from each city are urging to donate the council member to help their side victory – both councilors will shave their heads, regardless of the result.
The donations support the St. Baldrick Foundation, which has a mission to raise funds to help conquer cancer of children.
