Community College Santa Fe (SFCC) and KSFR announces the expansion of the station signal by activating the re -station KSQR Questa/Taos, broadcasting its programming at 91.3 FM. The new Questa transmitter tower has enabled the listeners in Questa, Taos, Red River and Española to enjoy listening to KSFR programming with a much better signal.

KSFR Tazbah McCullah general manager said: “We are glad that our dynamic programming is now available for approximately 8,000 listeners in northern New Mexico. A stronger signal contributes to listening to the enjoyment of people scattered throughout the northern New Mexico, which can be adjusted to KSQR at 91.3 FM. These new listeners will join the ranks of the thousands of listeners who are regularly tuned to the KSFR award programming at 101.1 FM. “

KSQR, as a re -station, simultaneously emits the KSFR contents. KSFR, a SFCC public service, brought News New Mexico News, music, public issues and more since 1991.

SFCC President Becky Rowley, a doctor of sciences, said the college is excited that the KSFR award -winning news coverage and other various programs will already be available in much of northern New Mexico. Adding KSQR with the Tower of the transmitter to Questa is a major stage of growth of this great radio station. “

KSFR is produced through the volunteer energy of more than 120 hosts and manufacturers. The KSFR programming schedule lists times for the various radio shows. KSFR content director Eric Davis is always looking for new volunteers and programs suggestions. Send an email to it at eric.davis1@sfcc.edu. He would be glad to hear from potential reporters in the communities north of Santa Fe.

While KSFR appreciates its role as an educational station in the community, it is also proud to offer its content to a world audience through Livestream to KSFR.org.
