Jason Shipman, director of Florence Primary School in Sparks, was named Senator Cortez Masto at President Trump’s upcoming address.
The president in 2025 until the congress is held this Tuesday, March 4.
Florence Drake Elementary is one of the highest quality schools for Title I in Nevada and is recognized as an excellent school for elementary and secondary education in 2024 and the National Blue Bank School since 2022.
Senator Cortez Masto withdrew from his own experience in his message, saying: “I am a product of public schools in Nevada – from kindergarten until my time in UNR – and I know that the difference that can make a good education in the life of the child.”
“Since schools across the country are faced with the potential abbreviations of critical federal funding, I will not abandon our teachers. I am proud to work with Nevada leaders as a chipman to guarantee that our students have everything necessary to thrive.”
Senator Cortez Masto made the support of education a critical focus, including efforts like her legislation To increase the number of mental health specialists in schools, which was signed in law as part of the Law on more favorable communities.
