His audience was growing during the Covid-19 pandemic when Mr. Kennedy dedicated much of his non-profit time, which sues vaccine manufacturers and uses social media campaigns to erode vaccine confidence as well as on Government agencies that encourage them.

With the support of President Donald Trump G -N -Kennedy, he believes he is “uniquely positioned” to revive confidence in these public health agencies that include the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and National Institutes of Health S

Republican senators have largely accepted the vision of G -N Kennedy, reciting his recently hatched slogan to “make America healthy again” in speeches.

Last week, the Republican North Carolina Senator Tom Tilis said he hoped that he would “get up” to manage the cost of health care and improve the health of Americans.

But one possession – the Republican senator was Cassidy, a doctor in Louisiana – required assurances that he would not make changes to the existing vaccine recommendations before agreeing to support it.

The Democrats remained skeptical, unsuccessfully promoted Mr. Kennedy during the hearing to deny a long discredited theory that vaccines cause autism.

And some of them have raised alarms for the Kennedy, which financially benefits from changing the vaccine guidelines or weakening the protection of the federal trial against vaccine producers.

Kennedy made more than $ 850,000 (680,170 British pounds) last year from an agreement directing customers to a law firm, which judged the creators of Gardasil, a papillomavirus vaccine that protects against cervical cancer. While serving as a health secretary, he promised to redirect the fees collected from the agreement to his son.

It is expected that the agency is to take over the agency against the backdrop of a massive shaking of the federal government led by billionaire Elon Musk, which excluded – even temporary – billions of dollars of taxpayers in public health financing and left thousands of federal workers insecure for their work S
