The last weekend in January is here and so is the winter sun. Both Saturday and Sunday will include blue sky and maximums in the mid -40s; Whether you are heading to the medieval Faire in Monroe or the Sasquatch Festival in Longview, the weather will be perfection in the middle of winter.

The reason for the long dry area? Above the Eastern Pacific is a very stable upper atmospheric model called the Omega Block. A huge high -pressure comb continues to move right on the shore and it is nailed from deep low on both sides. With the weather forecasting graphics, this configuration looks like the Greek letter Omega and after setting a store in a region, it can be very difficult to shake!

As such, the blue sky and sun varieties continue again and again ..! Next week, there are no significant rainfall in the next week. Look for colder cold mornings with low levels in the 20s and blue celestial afternoons with peaks in the 40th until Wednesday.

Thursday? Finally, a change in routine! The front is finally able to break down that large Omega block and fits into the region by the 30th month. We will see the Ninn rains and the mountain snow, which stops on Thursday afternoon on Friday, ending in January with such a necessary rainfall.

Until then, enjoy the sun!
