The low pressure system will continue to rotate in cold showers and snow over the next few days, with difficult morning trips forward.

The Gusty Fraser Valley winds will keep Western Whatcom County under freezing during the bigger part of the week, with wind chops in one -digit digits.

The low pressure area moved slightly further from the shore, so that the moisture has decreased a little today. The night will be mainly dry with just a few insulated waves around. Significant accumulations are not expected.

The character of these spotty showers makes this difficult forecast, but areas south of Seattle have the best chance of seeing snow accumulation on Wednesday morning before temperatures warm.

Temperatures will be cold overnight, especially in Whatcom County, where Windchill’s readings will fall into the one -digit. The Cold Time Advisory Board remains in force until 10 am on Wednesday.
