Seattle – A 38-year-old convicted criminal was arrested by a SWAT team on Monday in connection with a driving shooting in the Greenwood neighborhood in Seattle last month.
History
On December 28, the suspect, driving a jeep for rent, fired several shots at the driver of the silver SUV Maserati on the 10200 block of Linden Avenue to the north in daylight. Later, both vehicles were restored during the investigation.
What we know
After days of investigation, the detectives placed suspects on January 27 in an apartment near the corner of Lenny Wilkens Wei and 1st Avenue to the north. This area is in the Queen Anne District in Seattle, near the southwestern corner of the climate bet.
According to a police station in Seattle (SPD), officers have been served a search order and the Swat team has moved to the spot. After announcing their presence, the officers announce that they see a frantic movement from the occupants of the home.
Believing that the suspect is armed and dangerous, the Swat team forced to enter the apartment. When the officers entered, the suspect climbed from the window of the bedroom of the sill of the six -storey building in an attempt to escape.
SWAT employees then moved to the roof and negotiated with suspects, telling him that his capabilities were to surrender or risk falling.
The suspect eventually surrendered and was removed.

Later, detectives searched the apartment and restored evidence, including two firearms, several rounds of ammunition, firearms magazines, drugs and other items.
According to an SPD, the suspect has been convicted of a criminal who legally prohibits him from owning a firearm.
What they say
“This arrest is possible on the basis of evidence gathered by the northern patrol and tireless work by GVRU (a weapon reduction department),” said a lieutenant at GVRU. “This is an excellent investigation that ended with holding the suspect responsible and taking up many weapons of dangerous hands.”
The suspect was booked in the King County Prison, where he faces numerous charges, including an attack on crimes, a driving firing and two charges of illegal possession of a firearm.
