Canyons’s Men’s Golf College won the second consecutive conference tournament as he saw all five players finish the top 10 in the individual River Ridge Golf Club in Oxnard on Monday, February 10th.

Canyons (26-0) continues to be unbeaten during the season, ranked first in each of the first three events of the season, including two tournaments at the Western State Conference.

The cougars were 13 strokes better than Santa Barbara City College (383) on Monday, such as Ventura College (385) after a third. Bakersfield (395) and Glendale College (399) finished under 400 with their team results.

The coconut sophomore Ethan Posthum ended in a uniform circle of 72 to place a runner -up in the individual standings. This result was the best Posthumus circle for the season so far.

Ed Beihag was next, ending in third place with his circle of 73 years. Beyhag played in his first tournament of the season.

Owen Croquette continued its strong start to the season with a result of two over-pass from 74, placing fifth place in the field of 47 players representing eight schools.

Jacques Corfe ended his day in three over-pass, with his circle of 75 binding to the rest in sixth place.

Anthony Nilson, the current Jersey Mike Sortist student of the Week, was the final point for Canyons points, taking 10th place with his score 76.

Robert Skribner mapped 79 and finished tied to 17th place, but his result was eliminated from the result of the COC team.

Nick Bublitz of Ventura College was the event medalist after shooting three rounds of 69 years.

Canyons will play again on Monday, February 17 at the Alisal Ranch Golf Course at the WSC event host Santa Barbara.

Cougars will then have a one -week break from the conference while competing at the annual Riverside City College Invitational at Victoria Country Club on February 24th.
