SC State’s Berry Inks Second Class for 2025 – Live 5 News WCSC

OrangeBurg, SC – Carolina Co -Cois Berry State Coach ads on Wednesday (February 5), the signing of sixteen (16) football perspectives to national letters of intention (NLI). The class includes eight (8) transfers and eight (8) newcomers. This year’s class includes five (5) signed by South Carolina, seven (7) Georgia, two (2) from Florida, one from Kentucky and one from North Carolina.

Three protective backs, two running backs, three protective liners, three offensive liners, three wide successors, one protector and one place kick, make up class 2025.

“Go dogs! It’s a great day to be a bulldog, “Berry said. “As a staff, we were very deliberate about this class for signing in 2025 while we were betting on the United States of South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida to find the right fit of our athletes for our culture.

“Our coaching staff did an incredible job of building relationships with coaches in these areas, and from that time we were able to sign a really good class that we feel super excited about while preparing for the 2025 season,” Berry continued. “We are pleased with our start, since we have signed eight dynamic players in the high school, as well as eight explosive transfers, all of which meet our culture, our vision, our discipline, and our process. “But we’re not ready yet! This is just the beginning! Let’s get it. Go dogs! “

Together with the new recruits, Berry will return the ALL-Meac performers on both sides of football, including the wide receiver Justin Smith-Brown and the protective liner Ashad Hall, who is ranked among the best players in the nation of his situation.

During her first year, Bulldog Berry’s football program became the only coach in the school history, which directed his team at the conference championship during his first season.
