Columbia, SC (WRDW/WAGT) – South Carolina leaders say that one of the most urgent problems before them is now to understand how to ensure that lights remain throughout the country for years to come.
As the Palm’s state is experiencing more and more growth, they say that its energy production must also expand.
Finding a way to expand the energy capacity of South Carolina is a major priority in both panels of the General Assembly – as well as the governor.
But how exactly do I do it – it’s still working.

“Why do we need this bill? South Carolina is in the gap of the energy crisis, “said reporter Gil Gach, R-Dorchester.
Last week, the House of Representatives predominantly adopted an extensive bill on energy reform.
This is very similar to the legislation that the Chamber approved last spring – at which senators pumped the brakes to further explore the problem in the summer and autumn – and to hear from key stakeholders as utility managers.
They did this – and now the Chamber’s bill went to the Senate – where he received his first hearing on Thursday.
