Former Consequence Cosign Sasami has drawn a tour in North America, which is placed for this spring in support of her upcoming album Silver screenS She also shared her most singing single, which includes Clairo.
At her upcoming tour dates, she will hit cities like Los Angeles, Austin, Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, Brooklyn and others. Before the tour, it will also complete four separate dates at different shops for rough commercial records. Tickets are on sale on Friday, January 31 at 10:00 am local time via Ticketmaster and Sasami’s website.
“In Love with Memory” follows the previous singles “Slugger”, “Just Be Friends” and “HoneyCrash”. Like these other songs, the new song finds the artist who hugs a brilliant pop rather than the more abrasive, rock-hopping sound of her 2022 album. SqueezeS This time, Sassami takes a special influence from the canon of Japanese pop ballads. As such, the Klyiro Guest Place works as a natural fit, with its verse coinciding with indie -pop vibrations of the instrumental.
“” In love with a memory “was actually the first song I wrote that ended up on Silver screenExplains Sasami. “I grew up to go to Japanese or Korean” Norabang “private karaoke rooms with my mother, who was secretly the most amazing singer. Most of her numbers were Ooooooo Japanese and Korean folk songs that made me feel like a horror movie or a David Lynch movie. I can imagine my mother in the atmosphere of Julie Cruise, a single jazz lounge and cigarette smoke hanging in the air- singing one of those old songs with the most magnificent vibration and breathtaking vocal control. This is the feeling I touched when I started writing. “
