Sand Bags Created to help residents prepare for estimated storms – KTVN

With another storm along the way, people in the lower hills may want to start preparing for a series of storms predicted today and next week.

In an online publication, as can be seen below, the city of Renault makes preparation to outstrip the upcoming storms. Their maintenance and operations have created free sand places, providing both sand and bags. Although the sand is free, residents must bring a shovel and are responsible for filling their bags; The city asks the residents to take only what they need.

Susanville

In the online post, the Susel Fire Service says that with estimated storms, the Susan River can reach the peak slightly below the temperate flood range due to its reactivity to the estimated rainfall.

In preparation, the Susanville Fire Service, located at 1505 Main Street, has sand and sand bags for the residents of the city, which can be affected by these storms. They say there is a limit of 15 bags per household and residents have to bring their shovels to fill the bags.
