San Bernardino, CA (January 26, 2025) – An injury traffic collision was reported on southbound State Route 39 at mile marker 18 early Sunday morning. The crash involved a gray Chevrolet Tahoe and a black BMW sedan, both of which were reported inoperable after the crash.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) updated the incident to 1179 (traffic collision with injuries and medical emergency en route) at approximately 8:14 am. First responders, including SBC Fire IC and CHP units, were dispatched to the scene to assist the victims.
Initial information indicated that the vehicle on one side was stopped in the upbound lane and the other was in the downbound lane, further impeding traffic in the area. Towing services from Don’s Auto were notified with an estimated time of arrival of 9:13 am to clear the vehicles from the roadway.
