The Seattle Mariners farm system is advertised as the most prospects for the top 100 in baseball from another edition.
SALK: How Seattle Mariners can realistically complete their list of this off -season
The MLB PipeLine ranks seven farm workers in its original top-100 perspective ranking for 2025 on Friday, which leveled a share of the League with Chicago Cubs. Baseball America also ranked seven Seattle perspectives in the top 100 earlier in the week. The Pipeline ranking includes the same group of seven -position players as Baseball America.
Shortstop/Third Baseman Colt Emerson leads number 20 in the Pipeline ranking. Outfield Lazaro Montes (42), Fast Stop/Second Baseman Cole Young (49), Kether Harry Ford (65), Short Stop Felnin Celesta (78), Outfield Johnny Farmelo (96) and Second Baseman/Short Bus round the ranking of the best perspectives of M.
The publication breaks each farm at promising points, awarding 100 points for # 1 perspective, 99 for №2, etc. Seattle registered in fifth place with 263 points. White Sox led with 364. Tigers, Dodgers and Red Sox were also over M.
Here’s what Pipeline had to say about Seattle’s best prospects.
“Sailors are known for developing pitchers by leading Majors in ERA and inning among the holders in 2024, but their farm system is loaded with attackers. Seattle flourished both in the draft and on the international market, focusing on mid -range defenders. In particular, Marinors found gems with the first round of 2021 with Kacher Harry Ford (No. 65), 2022 with the short Cole Young stop (No. 49) and 2023 with the short stop Emerson (No. 20 ) and the central player Johnny Farmelo (No. 96).
Their largest signatures on the international market have also developed well. Shortstop Felnin Celesten (No. 74), the second perspective in the international class for 2023, emerged as a top talent before playing in the ball throughout the season, while his other player Michael Ari (No. 98), Top 50 International Perspective in 2022 D. flourished in two levels of Class A. Lazaro Montes (No. 42) is a future angular outfield player (or DH), which has become one of the best prospects in the game after signed for $ 2.5 million in 2022 . “
Rising, falling and newcomers
After a sharp climb in the ranking last year, Emerson made the biggest jump among potential customers in Seattle since the final Pipeline ranking for 2024. Emerson climbed with seven positions. Montes also climbed five positions.
Ford had the biggest decline, falling with 16 seats. Celesthen moved 12 seats down and Young to 11.
Farmello and Ariyo had been new on the list.
