SafeNest, Nevada’s largest and most comprehensive nonprofit organization dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence, has named Linda Bridges Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.
Bridges has 15 years of experience helping nonprofits create and expand their brand stories. Prior to joining SafeNest, she led marketing and brand strategy for Miracle Flights and the City of North Las Vegas, driving local and national brand awareness for both organizations.
Bridges also served as Chief Communications Officer for Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada, leading creative strategy, developing internal and external communications, and leading public relations, media engagement and strategic marketing. In 2018, Bridges formed Troop State Capitol, a bipartisan delegation of female members of the Nevada Legislature to advance key issues affecting girls and young women.
Bridges, who holds a master’s degree in marketing from Webster University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, moved to Las Vegas from St. Louis in 2013. She then joined the leadership team of Catapult Groups, a coaching company serving CEOs, company presidents and managing partners.
“Linda’s passion, combined with her experience as a veteran marketing and communications professional, will strengthen SafeNest’s mission to provide comprehensive, collaborative and innovative services to all affected by domestic and sexual violence in our community,” said SafeNest CEO Liz Ortenburger.
Outside of work, Bridges is a member of the Youth League of Las Vegas, serves as the Marketing Chair of the International Women’s Association of Las Vegas, and was a service project chair for the Red Rock Rotary of Las Vegas. She is a 2024 graduate of the Vegas Chamber Leadership Program in Las Vegas, was a 2021 Vegas Inc. 40 Under 40 honoree and was named a 2020 Rising Star Woman of Distinction by the National Association of Women Business Owners of Southern Nevada.
