Laredo, Texas (KGNS) – Get ready to run and celebrate! This Saturday, February 1st, Larendo Medical Center and the Laredo Broker Association will host the annual Run George Run 5K and LMC Wellness Fair, an WBCA event dedicated to fitness and community health.
Each year, runners of all ages hit the flooring in their best patriotic clothing to honor George Washington while they remain active. But this event is not just about running – participants can also benefit from free health screens, including blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, hernia and chest examinations.
For those looking for a different type of movement, the Zumba and Tai Chi demonstrations will be available to enjoy the whole family.
