Rosamo destroys Rosario, notes WBA Continental North America Strip capture knockout – World Boxing Association

Mexican knockout artist Hesus “Mono” Ramos put the energy drilling clinic on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, stopping former world champion Jeison “Banana” Rosario with a vicious knockout of the eighth circle to firm the main northern America WBA in North America super heavyweight title.

The battle opened with both men who trade skin in a tense, packed start, but Ramos quickly took control with sharper combinations and a superb municipality of the ring. His speed and accuracy of his hands wore Rosario, who turned out to be subjected under the ruthless pressure.

Ramos’ hooks and the upper forests found their own sign with an alarming consistency, breaking the Dominican’s guard and reducing his resistance. As the circles were wore, Rosario’s movement slowed down, his production descended, and he was forced to fight off the hind leg, absorbing severe punishment.

Until the eighth round, the writing was on the wall. A penal combination sent Rosario to collapse to the canvas in the gramada. He playfully defeated the number, signaling to the referee that he was ready to continue, but Ramos smelled of blood. The Mexican contender immediately flooded him with another brutal noise, forcing the judge to enter and stop the carnage before additional damage could be inflicted.

With the categorical victory, Ramos improved to 21-1 with 17 knockouts, establishing his status of increasing power in the heavyweight division and climbing closer to the World Title, launched as contender No. 7 of WBA.

For Rosario (24-4-2, 19 CO), the lubricating lesion serves as a major failure in his quest to return to the title dispute, while Ramos continues his climb as one of the most dangerous perforators in the weight class.
