Houston missiles are doing their best to stay sailing in the Western Conference ranking. On Monday night, they fell into the seed 5 after winning Los Angeles Lakers in Luka Doncic’s first game with his new team, but Houston is still off the second seed, which is currently held by Memphis Grizley.

Houston helped their cause with a victory against Toronto Raptors on Sunday afternoon, but the team enters a difficult stretch that can see the rockets lose space in the standings.

Houston has a frightening stretch forward as they face five teams in their next six games, which are in the adhesion mixture.

It starts with three straight -home games against Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timburwulvs. They will take a short trip to face Jua jazz before confronting Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs.

The other teams have a combined schedule of 134 wins to 128 losses except jazz. Although it may not seem that these teams have dominated the ranking, some teams, such as The Suns and Warriors, have somewhat have achieved inaccessible this season. Golden State made a big move to deal with his struggles by adding Jimmy Butler to the team within the commercial period. The missiles will face a team for a new look at Warriors, which seeks to get involved in the last part of the season.

Warriors are not the only team that wants to continue in the next few weeks. Timberwolves occupy the best games for playing # 7 in a draw with Los Angeles Clippers. The sun is outside who are watching, trying to break into the play bracket and take the tenth seeds taken currently from Golden State. The Spurs are looking to quickly gel with their new dynamic duet by Victor Wangnyama and De’Aron Fox, and Milwaukee Bucks are just a few matches back from gaining an advantage of the home in the first round.

The missiles will play highly motivated teams in the next section and they will play some on a limited rest.

Three of their next six games are in the second half of the back. Houston will play Warriors, Jazz and Spurs directly after games against The Suns, Timberwolves and Bucks, respectively.

Rockets already have thin margins to provide victory, while some impact players are recovering from an injury, but their prospects are smaller when entering into a limited break. They are likely to regain some of the injured players throughout this section, but there is also a chance that they are not available in the background of the rear games.

In order for rockets to stay in their place at the Western Conference and potentially climb, they must take advantage of their capabilities against other teams that want to make a mark on the ranking. They cannot afford to miss many of these matches while the season moves during the All-Star break. If Houston has a loser series, it can fall even more in the ranking.
