All downtown streets around the Reno Events Center were closed Thursday morning ahead of the Kamala Harris rally.
The event center is at 400 University Way, across from the National Bowling Alley.
Closed streets around the Reno Events Center include Lake Street, East Fifth Street and University Way. As of Thursday morning, only eastbound traffic was allowed on East Fourth Street.
According to the Harris campaign, doors to the rally open at 1 p.m. Participants must arrive no later than 16:00. Entries after this time may not be accepted.
Only those with confirmed RSVPs will be admitted. To enter, you must have a government-issued ID that matches your name on the check-in list.
Tents were also erected outside the venue, which can accommodate up to 7,000 people.

What you need to know
- All guests will go through an airport-like screening run by the Secret Service.
- No bags allowed. Diaper bags and medical bags are allowed.
- No liquids, including empty or full water bottles.
- No external posters.
- No umbrellas
- No vape pens or lighters.
- No weapons.
- No masks or costumed weapons.
- If using a carpool, direct drivers to 500 N. Sierra Street.
- Limited parking is available at the National Bowling Stadium for a fee.
- Free parking is available at 500 N. Sierra Road and 345 N. Virginia St.
