Rick Springfield just released new music!
The ’80s rock star has dropped “Lose Myself,” which will feature on a new greatest hits album due out in 2025.
Big Hits: Rick Springfield’s Greatest Hits, Volume 2 will bring up-to-date material for fans who have come to know Rick since his return to recording in 1999 with “Karma”. After 1988’s Rock of Life was sidelined by his motorcycle accident that took him out of circulation, Karma was the cornerstone that brought him back.
“I think the starting point of the beginning of the second part of my life was with Karma,” he told said. “I had kind of given it all away before that and I really didn’t think I would ever record or tour again. Karma was kind of the reincarnation of all that for me and showed me that I still have something to say and that I still write good songs.”
Greatest Hits: Rick Springfield’s Greatest Hits Volume 2 will be available in a deluxe edition from TalkShopLive that adds a lavish coffee table book signed by Springfield.
