The headquarters were released recently when Rodin chose reporter Tony Venhuzen to serve as a lieutenant Governor after Rodin inherited Governor Christ Nov as she left to become secretary of the Federal Department of Internal Security.

Born announced Kolbeck’s appointment in a statement on Wednesday night.

“I have been working with Jack for years as chairman of the State Senate,” Rodin said. “He has a stable head on his shoulders and will be a strong partner to keep South Dakota strong, safe and free.”

Kolbeck served in the Senate 13 in 2017 to 2024, including as a majority whip from 2023 to 2024. He has been working for more than 50 years in the malt industry and is the main account manager of the 2002 distribution accounts.
