A pair of restaurants in the Tripartite Region are among the selected several who are landed on a prestigious national list.
USA Today It comes out with 44 establishments across the country that were designated as restaurants of the year in 2025. According to food writers from the newspaper reporters
Gourmet Mediterranean of Sana – Sioux
A South Dakota restaurant is on the Honor roller – the Sanae’s Mediterranean on the Eastern Eight Street in Sioux Falls.
The restaurant is the birth of Sanaa Abourezk, a Two -time James Nominated for Beard Award for “The Best Chef Midwest”.
Sanaa’s, which opened in 2003, specializes in Mediterranean dishes such as Fatayers, Vegetarian Kibbe, Kofta Kabobs and Baklava.
The restaurant is open for lunch only every Monday until Saturday.

Oak Park – Des Moines
A restaurant in Iowa is also on the list.
Oak Park, on Avenue Ingersoll in de Mayin, has a rotating menu with pork chop, wrapped in bacon, as well as Wellington carrots and potato breeds served with Beurre Monté truffle.
Chef chef Ian Robertson draws on his experiences at AAA 5 Diamond and Michelin-Star restaurants in New York and Chicago.
His wife Jess is the chef of sweets, and among her creations is a $ 100 banana division, complete with pistachios, banana saffron and Faa Grass ice cream.
