Washington (WGHP)-US representative Virginia Fox (R-NC) is recovering from the fall of the marble staircase in front of the Hall of the House of US Representatives.
On Friday, Fox is reported to have climbed the stairs to talk to her family in the gallery and slipped as she went down the stairs.
They helped her stand up and the medical staff examined her. Fox received several cuts in the fall and went to the doctor’s office to get treatment.
“Everything seems to be fine,” a FOXX representative told FOX8.
Fox is the 5th Congress County of North Carolina, which includes the districts of Alexander, Alegani, Ash, Caldwell, Rockingham, Stokes, Surrey, Wataug and Wilks, as well as part of Gilford County.
