Reno -Sparks 2025 Spring Break Camps: Academics, Athletics, Creativity and others – Reno Gazette Journal

The Washoe County School District Spring Vacation is set for Monday, March 17th to Friday, March 28. If you are looking for ways to keep your children active for this two -week section, there are more than a dozen local organizations hosting Spring Break camps.

It is never early to plan; Many of these camps will be sold out long before the children go on vacation. Here is a look at the composition.

Apex football camps

  • $ 295/week, $ 30 Reno Apex Player Discount
  • Moana football fields, 240 W. Moana Lane

The campsites will be trained on football foundations, including dribble, passing and receiving, shooting, protection and more. The four-day camp operates March 24-27; The camps are 9am to 2pm every day. For details, visit retoapex.com/apex-soccer-camps/.

Arts for all creativity camps in Nevada

  • Aged 6-10, 11-15
  • $ 180/week
  • Mansion Lake, 250 Court Street

The younger artists aged 6-10 can participate in sketching, drawing and sculptural activities focused around bugs, plants and landscapes (week 1) and ancient artistic methods (week 2). Challenge

  • Grade K-5, aged 5-12 years
  • $ 261/week plus registration fee of $ 50

Island Challenge hosts a two-week-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day-day basis, tropical forest and the second week, based on Greek mythology. Discovery Camp

  • Class K-4 (Week 1), Class K-7 (Week 2)

Galena Creek Spring Spring Camp

  • Age 8-13
  • $ 325/week
  • Galena Creek Visitor Center, 18250 Mt. Rose Highway

This camp allows participants to go, to look at the observation of the wild and participate in experiments with games and sciences in the Galena Creek Regional Park from 9:00 to 16:00 from Monday to Thursday. A great outdoor pool of school adventure camp

  • Age 6-12
  • $ 290/week (discounts for additional siblings)

Camperi activities include tourism, practical activity, construction of a team, arts and crafts and learning the river ecology by guest experts. For details, visit Greatbasin-os.org/day-camp.

Junior Spring Tennis Camp

  • Age 7-17
  • $ 55/day or $ 225/week for a half -day camp
  • $ 90/day or $ 400/week for a full -day camp
  • Renault Tennis Center, 2601 Plumas St.

The half -day camp works from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and includes instructions for tennis, training, games and play. The full -day camp lasts from 9:30 to 16:00, starting with half a day of entertainment activities and a controlled stay and continues with advanced tennis instructions in the afternoon. Kidscape Productions Spring Break Full Play Camp

  • Age 7-17
  • $ 335/week
  • Damonte Ranch High School, 10500 Rio Wrangler Parkway

Children who want to learn more about professional theater can gain the full experience of performing the stage or backstage roles as they have collected crop scams since the 1980s at this camp on March 24-28. Museum of Arts in Nevada Spring Camps

  • Age 7-11
  • Nevada Museum of Arts, 160 W. Liberty St.

Parents can register their artists for hours for a week in clay, painting and digital art and illustration. Camp hours and fees vary for each class; Visit Nevadaart.org for details.

Reno Little Theater Spring Break Camps

  • Grade K-6
  • $ 275/week
  • Reno Little Theater, 147 E. Pueblo St.

Divide into two age groups (kindergarten up to grade 2 and 3rd to 6th grade), this camp teaches performance skills from music to dance to acting, with a showcase at the end of the week for family and friends. Sierra Nevada Basketball Spring Camps

  • 1-6 grade; 5-8

Ski belief in the spring holiday camp

  • Age 5-14

This camp offers a mix of skiing and snowboarding at Palisades Tahoe (with lessons, tickets and rentals), public service in the Good Shepherd Cloths wardrobe and Lacrosse at Sage Ridge School. Spring Vacation Tournament Camp

Spring Little Tennis Camp

  • Age 4-6

Student Stewards Spring Break Camp

  • Age 8-12
  • $ 275/week
  • IDLEWILD PARK, 75 Cowan Drive

This steam -focused camp includes outdoor survey, practical activities, games, crafts and more. The camps move from 9:00 to 16:00 (extended hours from 8:00 to 5:30 pm are offered for an additional fee). Older students aged 13-16 can apply for junior councilors. City Roots Spring Camp

  • Age 5-15
  • $ 295/week
  • Urban Roots, 1700 E. Second St.

This immersive camp teaches children for the natural world. First week, “Bive tales” is all about bees and books; For the second week, “Finding High Deserts” focuses on Nevada’s ecosystems. The camp opens from 8:30 to 15:30 every day. For details, visit Urbanrootsnv.org/camp.

Holiday station

  • Age 6-12

The city of Renault hosts the spring vacations in six places: Jesse Beck Elementary, Joint Raw Elementary, Mount Rose K-8, Westergard Elementary, Mamie Towles Elementary and the McKINley Arts and Culture Center. The camps run from 7 to 18 hours every day. For details, visit Reno.gov.
