Reno Police Arrest Suspect In January Murder – FoxReno.com

Reno Police Department detectives have arrested a suspect in connection with the January slaying of 25-year-old Adinzo DeLeon Garcia.

On January 15 of this year Reno police officers responded to a missing person report. DeLeon Garcia was last seen on January 12, 2024. Later that day, officers found DeLeon Garcia dead in his vehicle near the intersection of East Leonesio Drive and Crystal Lane.

Following an investigation by the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office, DeLeon Garcia’s death has been ruled a homicide.

On Oct. 31, the Regional Crime Squad arrested Rafael Contreras-Servin, 43, on charges of open murder, discharging a firearm into an occupied building, destroying or concealing evidence and child endangerment.
