Election Day has arrived in Reno County, with contested Kansas Senate and House races wrapping up for the 2024 general election.
In the Kansas Senate, Republican Michael Murphy, who currently holds state House District 114, is facing Democrat Shana Henry for the seat currently held by Mark Steffen, who declined to seek re-election.
On the House side, incumbent Democrat Jason Probst faces Republican Kyler Sweely for the 102nd District. Probst has held the post since his election in 2016.
In the other contested state House race, incumbent Republican Paul Wagoner faces Democratic challenger Lynette Krieger-Zuk for the 104th House District. Wagoner has held his seat since being elected in 2018.
