A man from Renault is in custody after claiming to have attacked his ex -girlfriend and then threatens his life.
According to Carson City Sheriff’s office, Matthew Alexander Mann, 35, was arrested on February 14 in Renault after an investigation.
The incident began on February 10, when MPs responded to N. Curry St.’s home disturbance appeal. The victim, who had an active protection order against Man, announced that he had approached her near his vehicle and tried to steal his bag, but was unsuccessful. Video footage confirmed the victim’s account.
An arrest warrant has been issued on charges of robbery, a fake prison, a violation of a temporary protection order and a home battery.
The situation escalated on February 13, when Man claims to have contacted the victim by phone and threatened to shoot her for conversation with law enforcement agencies. He was reported and he asked her for a testimony against him in court.
The detectives located on the manga the next day at a residence in Renault and took it to custody. He is currently kept at Carson City Sheriff’s prison for a $ 100,000 bond.
