Reno, NV – Northern Nevada will see a transition from warm, dry weather to a more active storm model this weekend. A chance of temperatures at 70 degrees in Renault on Saturday will give way to cooler, outstanding conditions until Sunday.

According to the National Meteorological Service (NWS) Reno, a dry meteorological model continues until Friday, with the maximums in the middle to the above 60’s. By the end of Saturday, temperatures will begin to fall as the storm system approaches. The rain and snow showers are probably on Sunday on Monday, with the maximum falling in the 40s.

Residents of higher elevations, including Mammuts and Truke Lakes, must be prepared for the accumulation of snow. The more cold weather will be maintained in early March, with a constant chance of rainfall.

Drivers must be prepared to change the road conditions, especially in the mountain passages. Be updated with NWS Reno for the latest forecasts and consultations.
