The suspect was identified and arrested for shooting at Ace Motor Lodge on Wednesday.
Employees have been able to identify the suspect in the shooting such as 25-year-old Jayla Moore, according to a message from the Renault Police Department.
Moore had escaped the scene before the officers arrived at the motor lodge, but the officers were able to persuade her to return and she was arrested for a deadly weapon battery and reserved at the Washo County Prison.
The victim of the shooting is in the hospital who receives treatment and has no exceptional threat to the public.

Renault police are investigating a shooting that happened at Ace Motor Lodge on Wednesday.
The incident happened around noon near the lodge, located near North Sierra and the western 2 streets.
Police say the victim was transported to a nearby hospital. We do not know the condition.
Police say this is an isolated incident and they are still looking for suspects.
