The Volunteer Center of Renault is a central clearing house for volunteer opportunities in Renault. Non -profit and governmental organizations in the area submitted the following requests for assistance. Builder – Volunteers are needed to help, as cashiers, test appliances and electrical facilities have been employees of the floor, receive donations and arrange them. Volunteers should be 18 years old. Volunteers are needed from 9:00 Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Soup kitchen Looking for a volunteer who could come to the kitchen of the soup and bring donations to clothes from the outdoor donation at the clothing bank in the kitchen of the soup. Stoa (Speech and debate at home) conducts a tournament of February 6-8. Volunteers are needed to contribute to the growth and development of youth, judging in the tournament and giving feedback to students. Volunteers will attend a judge orientation, listen to speeches and debates and give feedback by filling in voting. The judges are needed for 2- to 3 hours rounds during the three days. Volunteers will interact with students aged 12-18 from several different states. Breakfast and meals are provided for judges.
Hutch Rec Daddy daughter dance It will be February 8th in the Cottonwood Court building at KS state fairs. Volunteers are needed to assist in the 9-hour setting or 1-4 pm February 7th. Volunteers will decorate tables with tablecloths and central parts, inflating balloons with a balloon falling machine, organizing raffle awards, hanging any banners, etc. The event on February 8 requires volunteers from 5-8:30 am to help fill the drink and pizza tables. Volunteers are also needed for overlapping replacement drinks and pizza tables and then help clean 6: 30-9: 30pm. Volunteers should be at least 15 years old. Volunteers should be able to be on their feet, walk and bend, follow instructions and remain on the task. Volunteers should be able to help lift tables, wear and deploy chairs if they adjust or clean.
Renault Cancer Council The annual round fundraising is looking for volunteers to help keep the tables clean, take garbage and more. As people finish their dishes, they fill the drinks and help fill the food bars. Volunteers will be on their feet and will move most of the time and will have to wear a black shirt and black pants. Volunteers will have to attend the mileage in the evening before 5:00 pm February 14 if they are available. After that, volunteers are needed for the event from 15-10 pm February 15.
