LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – With many races and propositions on the ballot, officials are reminding voters to get to the polls early so they don’t feel rushed.
At a polling station in south Laredo, many voters shared their thoughts on the importance of participating in civic duties. “Voting matters a lot here in Laredo. Every vote counts,” said Berta Ramirez, a local voter. “No matter who you want to vote for, come and make a difference. As citizens of Laredo, we need to be heard, and voting is our way to do that.”
Friday 1 November is the last day for early voting and polls will close at 8pm. There are ten early voting locations throughout the county. For a list of polling stations, click here.
