Redlands’ Symphony Orchestra Redlands of 2025, with the participation of musicians from the orchestra, will open on Thursday, February 20.
Being in the concert at 7:30 pm in the first Presbyterian Church of Redlands will be the violinists Sam Fisher, the concertmaster of the orchestra and Sakura Tsai, who plays the position of the concert, with the pianist Jenny Jung. The program includes Solo and Duo Violin Music by Jesse Montgomery, Jean-Marie Lechard, Dmitry Shostakovich and others, according to news message.
“We have started Redlands’s recital series as a way to provide both our community and our musicians to connect and emotional synergy,” Ransom Wilson, the orchestra’s music director, said in a news. “Our musicians are one of the best in southern California, so any performance in such an intimate setting is a real treat for friends and neighbors in our region.”
After the concert on February 20, the series will continue with a recital on March 20 by Adam Wolf, the main horn of the orchestra, with pianist Alex Mansour.
The last concert in the series is April 17, with a brass quintet with the participation of David Scott, the main trumpet of the orchestra; Phil Keane, Chief Trombone; Luke Holland, Fourth Horn; Scott Sutherland, main tube; And guest musicians.
