After being charged with a large jury, the charges were upheld to a first -degree murder against the man accused of the shooting of Cuban reggae -singer El Tiger.
Damian Valdez-Galoso is also accused of forgery of physical evidence and possession of firearms.
With the 37-year-old, who is not in the Miami-Dadd District Court this morning, his lawyer has entered an innocent feature and requested a court hearing.
Prosecutors told his lawyer that they had not yet decided whether they would seek the death penalty for the murder of Jose Manuel Carvajal Gulf, more known as El Tiger.
Investigators say Valdez-Galoso shot the singer in the head at Hyalea’s home and dragged him to SUV.
This SUV, with the artist inside, was found parked near the Jackson Memorial Hospital.
