Real Sarap, Filipino Restaurant in Talahasi, blinds after a decade – Talahasi Democrat

After nearly 10 years in operation, the daily home -made Filipino Real Sarap restaurant closed its doors.

The restaurant, created by four nurses of the Memorial Health of Tallahassee, who contacted the love of food from their homeland, announced the news on the Facebook business page.

“After an in -depth consideration, it was decided that we were closing our location in 435 W. Tennessee St. Effective from February 2, 2025,” the publication said. “We are resting with a plan to explore other options to best serve our valuable customers and community.”

The restaurant, decorated in bright green, was on West West Tennessee Street with its owner’s owner, Bethhel Missionary Baptist Church from 2015. He was known for providing traditional Philippine food, from the fat pork to chicken meat S

The Reverend RB Holmes, Jr., Beltel’s pastor, told Talahassi Democrat on Tuesday that the church was in the early stages of solving what was next for the building.

The patrons, discouraged by the news, reacted in the comment section: “You had a really good, authentic Philippine food. I hope to find another way to make your food available in the near future. Salam!”

Another user said, “Nooooooo there are not many Philippine places in Talahassi! It’s so sad to hear that!”
