BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPRUD) — Governor Jeff Landry met with rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson on Wednesday, October 16th.
Landry posted this message on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Big thanks to Curtis Jackson @50cent for meeting me today! Louisiana is lucky to have someone like him investing in our economy. I look forward to continuing to work together to build a better future for Louisiana!”
Jackson told X, “Myself, Shreveport Mayor Tom Arsenault and Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry had a great meeting today.”
In April, the city of Shreveport welcomed 50 Cent and G-Unit Studios to town. The rapper spent some time in Louisiana this year, including a visit to Barksdale Air Force Base.
According to IMDb, the rapper has won 15 awards, including a Primetime Emmy.
