The Los Angeles Rams have built something special over the past few years. Head coach Sean McVay, since becoming the coach of the Rams, has been one of the best coaches in the National Football League. General manager Les Snead also gets a lot of credit.
McVay led the Rams to two Super Bowls, winning in 2022. Snead has built a great roster over the years, giving the team everything it needs to be successful. Even in years where many thought the Rams would rebound, Snead and McVay pulled the right strings and drafted the right players for this Rams team.
Now that the Rams are in the offseason, the team will look to add to the talented roster and once again find the right players that best fit their system. The Rams have a great staff from top to bottom and know what it takes to find players in the NFL draft and free agency to draft.
“There’s an element of perspective at this stage in a career,” Rams general manager Les Snead said. “I’m probably honored and lucky to be, as you said, 14 years from now. I can tell you this, I turned 54… I take losses too hard. When I got to 54, now I have this chart in my phone in my notes of what I need to do pretty quickly to get over this loss a minute, am I doing this just to do it.”
“The good thing about being kind of, I guess finally becoming mature, is that you can be intentional about well that energy is definitely negative. How do I go back to, let’s call it a more reasonable, rational, perspective and then try to know Being a leader in the building is an honor and it’s very fortunate when you get to that point, I mean I was one of them kids at one time … there was an element of a career in football.”
