The Boise State hockey club will take over the University of Denver in the 13th annual game that raises funds to support the elderly metro.
Boise, Idaho – The 13th Annual Hunger Hunger Game of Ice Hunger takes over Idaho Central Arena on Saturday, February 1st.
The revenue from the game goes to help feed the Boise Wheels subway to serve food to the elderly in southwestern Idaho.
The Boise State Hockey Club will take over the University of Denver Hockey Club in the game.
It’s the 13th year Boise State has worked with wheels feeding, The collection of a total of over $ 400,000, which is equivalent to 80,000 meals.
The Metro Meals on Wheels Grant Jones CEO said it was special to see the younger generations, excited to return to the older generations.
“This is a really meaningful and impactful event, partly because of this aspect between generations with young hockey players and adults,” Jones said. “They come out and help prepare food on Friday, the day before the match.”
The Boise Boise subway has served more than 2000 meals to the elderly every weekday around southwestern Idaho.

Volunteers and donors are needed year -round to prepare and deliver food.
