Baton Rouge – a company has been selected to lead an initiative aimed at reviving the center of Baton Rouge, the foundation of the Baton Rouge region and other groups, according to Tuesday.
The Baton Rouge III Plan will be led by the Sasaki Planning Group, a 70-year-old company that specializes in planning and construction. The company defeated 22 other competitors to lead the initiative that will upgrade previous plans for the city center from 1998 and 2009.

Sasaki has also worked on projects in Baton Rouge such as Baton Rouge Lakes, Greenwood Park and Baton Rouge Zoo, Braf said.
Braff said the plan would take about a year to fully outline and that the community feedback was an important part of the project. Local projects working on the project will include Franklin Associates, CSRS, Vectura Consulting Services, Trahan Architects and James Lima Planning + Design.

The main planning of the project Sasaki is Joshua Brooks, a native of Baton Rouge. The Governing Committee, co -chairman of the National Housing Consulting Service “Helena Cunningham”, Eric Dexter of Braff, Marty Engvist, the elevation of the founder of Cane Todd Graves and Mike Vampud of Wampold Companies will also monitor the next stages of the planning process.
