Provoy to open New Dunfermline Gilbert and Sullivan Society Show – Dunfermline Press

The Scotland Labor Advisor will attend the premiere of “The Jury is Outside”, a new track, written and directed by Linda Milne, with music arranged by Willie Campbell.

The show will debut on February 13, 2025 at 7.30 pm, with additional performances on February 14 at 7.30 pm and February 15 at 2.30 pm.

The DGASS publicity manager, Claire White, shared an idea of ​​G -Milne’s dedication to the project.

She said: “Linda performs regularly through Fife with Dunfermline and Kirkkaldi Gilbert and Combine societies, taking on several major roles and also a member of, for example, the kingdom singers.

“This is her first opportunity to direct a show, and she says she really enjoys the experience.

“DGASS is delighted and honor that she trusts us her new and exciting work.”

The show is based on the well -loved Gilbert and Sullivan Operetta, the “court process of the jurors,” who revolves around a violation of the promise case that ends up in court.

G -ja White said, “Linda says she has always wondered why the plaintiff and the defendant found themselves in court and answered this question in this imaginary and fun piece.

“She took the operetta and is woven into it, a modern love story of the sweets Sally and Richard, whose romance is in court.”

The show, over two acts, promises many twists and turns as it follows the romance of Richard and Sally.

Dgass hopes the show will attract a new audience while appealing to those familiar with Gilbert and Sullivan.
