Tallahasee, Florida (WCTV) – More than 100 people celebrated President Day, gathered on Monday night at the Florida Capitol complex to protest the policies adopted by President Donald Trump in his second term.
The demonstration was just one of the many protests that happened across the country on Monday. The organization of the local organization, called the 50501 movement, organizes a protest “Without Kings on President’s Day” to deny Trump’s advisor and billionaire Elon Musk, and several groups for activists in the capital city have united to host a local demonstration.
According to social media publications, the Community Action Community in Talahassi, students for Democratic Society and Socialist Organization of Freedom Roads are among the countries that helped plan the event. The protest came less than two weeks after many of the same activists drafted a local version of such a national protest on February 5th.
Both ralts have denied Trump’s advisor and billionaire Elon Musk, the leader of the new Ministry of Government Efficiency of Trump, an organization from the foreign government designed to reduce federal costs.

The protest of the capital comes after Trump spent the weekend in the Sunshine country.
On Sunday, the president attended the Daytona 500 on the Atlantic coast. His program was free on Monday, with no public events scheduled, but his administration published a press release.
